How to Find Strength in the Lord Like David
The Secret to Joy, Victory, and Intimacy with God
In my guest post at The 7 Resolutions, I encourage the pursuit of strengthening ourselves in the Lord. This strengthening is a divine encounter we are to cultivate in our spirits in order to connect with God.
Here is section of what I wrote:
In Killing Sin, Karl Clauson writes,
“Living in intimate proximity to Jesus will allow us to conquer the most
potent sins and bear more spiritual fruit than we could ever dream of!”
King David knew what it was like to live in intimate proximity to the Lord and to experience spiritual fruit. In fact, God recorded in 1 Samuel 30:6 that during David’s distress, he says, “David found strength in the Lord his God.” David was able to turn the real-life anguish, worry, and fear in his heart and mind, and focus his energy back on where His strength and help come from: The Lord Himself!

Hi, looks like God made a intervention for me this morning with your post today! Thank you so much.
I've listened to your Sunday video in your Tuesday. I think video. I would like to find out I need a book and I'm seeing this as God's God's pointing me to the right way. There's two books by Carl that I like. It looks like you'd like to. It's called killing sin and then the other one was The seven revelations...
I'm really trying to hate my sin to stop sinning getting stuck in little things that I should not be. I'm over 60 and I've been with the Lord for about 40 years and the last 5 years I've grown in the Lord, He's my Father God and Master and His Son is my best friend! ! Oh He is so sweet to me! But anyway, I would appreciate your opinion. I'm probably going to end up with both eventually!
God bless you sir and thank you. Thank you for doing your subtract today. God blessed me by faithfulness to His calling to love the saints! 💜🙏🏼🌺⚓🙌🏼👑🙌🏼🦋
